Public Engagement Trainee, Winter 2025
Helen is a junior at Columbia University studying Sustainable Development with a concentration in Sociology. Through her interdisciplinary studies, she has found interest in addressing environmental issues through energy, housing, and transportation policy areas. With a passion for environmental justice, she prioritizes equity and community-informed solutions towards sustainability. Her previous experience includes an internship at the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, researching how the National Environmental Policy Act impacts clean infrastructure projects, and a position as a student researcher for the energy opportunity lab at the Center on Global Energy Policy. During her free time, she enjoys running, baking, trying new restaurants, and going on long walks in the city.
