Traditional public relations plus innovative use of digital media engaged the public and stakeholders in a year-long conversation.  

 Tactics included: 

  • Walkshop (walking workshop) launch with resident and stakeholder idea sharing with project team and elected officials 

  • Interactive polling and tabling at community event pop-ups 

  • Intercept interviews with train station commuters 

  • Workshop venues that met people where they are—libraries, churches, building lobbies, art galleries
