The Ask.

 

Engage communities and stakeholders in planning projects to mitigate climate change-related flooding.

The Solution.

 

Layered public engagement for three connected Lower Manhattan projects to prompt participation—including navigating a COVID-19 required shift to virtual communication.

Tactics include: 

  • Interactive in-person and virtual planning activities and design workshops 

  • Public roundtables and presentations 

  • WalkShop (walking workshop) series of three walking workshops with the project team for an on-the-ground idea-sharing tour.
