Sage is a driven environmentalist who is passionate about creating more equitable and sustainable communities through public engagement and policy. Her experiences with government offices and nonprofits have allowed her to work on diverse, local initiatives related to coastal resiliency, renewable energy systems, public art and heritage, and environmental education.

Sage’s notable experiences include:

  • Securing grant funding to support place making public art events and murals with the Broome County Arts Council

  • Planning and developing community outreach events to expand at-home renewable energy systems on the Southern Tier of New York

  • Leading social media campaigns to increase student voting and civic literacy on the Binghamton University Campus

Sage is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton, with a BA in Environmental Policy & Law, and an MS in Sustainable Communities. In her free time, she loves to get creative with a new art project or take long walks around Brooklyn to discover new food and shops.

I am excited to be part of forward-thinking, creative solutions that make space for public input in sustainable projects. Public input is a crucial steppingstone for equity in planning for the future."
