The County of Rockland, New York
Rockland Housing Affordability
ASC Expands into New Housing Sector with a new Affordable and Fair Housing Education and Outreach Campaign Contract for Rockland County
ASC has been awarded a pivotal contract, funded by the American Rescue Plan (ARPA), to support Rockland County in addressing one of today’s most pressing social issues: housing affordability. This partnership allows us to apply our expertise in strategic communications and community engagement to build public understanding around the critical need for affordable, accessible housing within the county.
Rockland County’s recent housing needs assessment underscores the challenges many residents face: the majority of housing stock is single-family homes averaging $700,000, and a deficit of over 4,200 units means that many essential workers—teachers, first responders, retail employees—cannot afford to live near their workplaces. This campaign, developed with our valued partners at JDN Marketing, Langalo, Inc., and The Design and Branding Company, will highlight the realities of housing affordability and empower the community to advocate for solutions.
ASC is proud to expand into the housing sector and to support Rockland County in fostering a more inclusive, equitable community where all residents have access to safe, affordable housing.
